Ancestral Health is my passion. I want to live a long life and feel really good doing it. Adopting a lifestyle that mimics the physiological input my genes expect has been key in re-establishing and maintaining vitality after injuries and illness. Devoting myself to proper mechanical and chemical input into my body has been so effective in radically improving my life experience that I am driven to share what I’ve learned.
I’ve been certified in Foundation Training’s corrective exercise method since February 2015. I worked and studied with the creators of the Foundation Training method from 2014 through 2017, learning the ins and outs of the method and how to effectively teach corrective movement to a wide variety of bodies and conditions. I successfully built and lead groups at SB Athletic Club, Crossfit Pacific Coast, Carpinteria Athletics, Divinitree Yoga, Core Fitness Training, Impact HUB SB, as well as private group lead weekly at East Beach, Palm Loft Gallery and 10 West Art Gallery. I brought FT workshops and interdisciplinary collaborations to diverse venues like Lululemon SB, Casa Serena Women’s Recovery Center and Lucidity Music Festival.
Foundation Training saved my back… and my shoulder, and neck, and hips, and knee. I was riddled with injury and weakness. This method works. I have seen it work for everyone that puts in the effort.
